"The Sancy" is the brainchild of Indian born, Fashion Designer, Chandan Allen. Trained at Central Saint Martins, London, Chandan fuses her European training with her Indian heritage. Each collection is a dedication and inspiration from Chandan’s life through her journey from Mumbai to London to Cape Town and now California.
The Sancy is designed keeping in mind the modern woman who appreciates understated luxury, crafted with impeccable quality, tailored precision, and enduring style. Fast fashion is not an option for us, sustainability and environmental responsibility is in our core values. We produce responsibly in our own factory in Mumbai, controlling the quality and production process from start to finish.

Chandan Allen, an Indian born fashion designer and a California resident, weaves the synergy of four continents into her designs.
Chandan’s journey began in India, where she grew up surrounded by a rich cultural heritage of art, textiles and artisans which formed the foundation to her creative philosophy.
In 1999, relocating to UK, Chandan’s training at Central Saint Martin’s College of Fashion, London gave her the seal of confidence to create a signature style of timeless silhouettes, with a modern blend of femininity, color, and style.
In 2009, Chandan established CADPL (Chandan Allen Designs Pvt. Ltd.) her manufacturing facility in Mumbai, India which gives shape and form to each and every design, crafted by Chandan in California.
A mother of three daughters, Chandan is deeply rooted to India and is passionate about giving back to the community.
